The Defense Business Development Representative (BDR) is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and developing new business opportunities that support Aegis Power Systems’ national sales and marketing efforts. This U.S.-based remote role reports directly to the Sales Strategy Chief and focuses on generating qualified leads, building customer relationships, and supporting strategic revenue growth. The BDR works closely with the sales and engineering teams to identify new customers, programs, and opportunities within the defense, aerospace, and high-reliability electronics markets. The ideal candidate has familiarity with electronics hardware design or manufacturing, enabling them to effectively qualify power conversion opportunities and engage technical stakeholders. This is a highly customer-facing role requiring strong communication skills, emotional intelligence, and a hunter mindset to proactively engage prospective customers across engineering, program management, procurement, executive leadership, and military program offices.
