In this role you will drive the process/metrology/defect reduction roadmap to meet technology development requirements. You will be responsible for driving the defect reduction roadmap, responding to deviations in process control, and managing out of control (OOC) action plans. Additionally, you will develop strategies to partition defectivity problems and establish systems/processes to eliminate re-occurrence. You will also develop recipes on inspection tools to capture specific defects and support high volume manufacturing as part of factory startup. Documenting all aspects of the procedure in controlled documents and providing training to operators, technicians, and engineers will be part of your responsibilities. Establishing relationships across various departments to drive cohesive learning and cross-functional problem solving is essential.
