About The Position

As a Deep Learning Engineer at Carbon Robotics you will design experiments to test new models and algorithms, optimize them for daily deployments to operational resources in the field, document and produce reports on your findings, and integrate them with our robotics software stack. Build quickly through ownership and collaboration with Engineering and Product Management.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in deep learning model optimization and deployment.
• BS+ in Computer Science, or related field.
• Professional experience designing and implementing novel deep learning architectures.
• Understanding of foundational mathematical principles of deep learning architecture.
• Hands-on experience across the end-to-end Machine Learning workflow.
• Experience with developing deep learning models at scale.
• Familiarity with modern object detection techniques.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.

• Comfortable navigating ambiguity and evolving technical landscapes.
