About The Position

Overview The incumbent in this position is responsible for steward and cleaning operations, ensuring our Cafe is supplied with clean dishes and silverware according to business needs. Responsibilities Creates an atmosphere that induces guests to make Hard Rock Casino Cincinnati their choice for gaming entertainment; responsible for actively building and retaining guest relations and acts as a mentor to team members in order to provide superior guest service. Follows and maintains department objectives, standards, and guidelines to ensure proper operation of department. Assists in ordering and receiving all non-food items within the Food & Beverage Department, ensuring adequate par levels of inventory. Inspects equipment and ensures all equipment is in working order and up to Hard Rock safety and cleanliness standards; authorizes replacement parts for equipment in the food departments. Maintains open lines of communications with the Executive Chef and Director of Food & Beverage. Attend and participate in meetings, completing follow-up as assigned. Perform work regularly and predictably. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Must obtain and maintain a valid drivers and all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations. Must successfully pass background check. Must successfully pass drug screening. Must be twenty one (21) years of age. Additional Details Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing. Be flexible to work varying shifts and time schedules as needed. Deliver programs which create a service level of excellence for internal and external guests. Ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and outside contacts. Review and comprehend all necessary documentation. Inspect and maintain all areas for which responsible. Stock and retrieve supplies as needed.

Requirements

Must obtain and maintain a valid drivers and all licenses / certifications per Federal, State, and Gaming/Lottery regulations.
Must successfully pass background check.
Must successfully pass drug screening.
Must be twenty one (21) years of age.
Communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing.
