About The Position

NFI is seeking dedicated Class A CDL drivers for our local routes. As a driver, you will be responsible for operating a dry van and ensuring timely deliveries within the operating area of Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Maryland, and Virginia. This position offers home daily schedules, with shifts starting between 1 AM and 5 AM, Monday through Friday, and one Saturday per month. The role involves no-touch freight with drop and hook and live unload activities. Drivers will benefit from immediate health, dental, vision, and prescription coverage, along with a 401(k) plan with a match.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
• Minimum one (1) year of relevant tractor-trailer experience
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards and guidelines
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
• Report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during and after route
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
• Perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
