About The Position

NFI is seeking dedicated truck drivers for our Northeast operations. This position offers a competitive pay range of $1,500 - $1,700 per week, along with a sign-on bonus of $2,500. Drivers will enjoy weekly home time with 2 consecutive days off and have the option to work on a schedule of either Sunday-Thursday or Tuesday-Saturday. The equipment used includes a dry van and assigned sleeper tractor, ensuring no slip seating. Drivers will engage in drop & hook activities with no touch freight, operating primarily in the Northeast region, with extra pay for boroughs.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
• Acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines.
• Physically capable to perform all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting.
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg.
• Report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area.
• Perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements.
