About The Position

NFI is seeking dedicated local truck drivers with a Class A CDL to join our team in Syracuse, NY. This position offers an average pay range of $1,000 to $1,300 per week, depending on experience. Drivers will be home daily, operating on a Tuesday to Saturday AM shift schedule. The equipment type is Dry Van, and the driver activity involves drop & hook with no touch freight. The operating area is primarily in the Northeast, excluding New York City.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age.
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence.
• Minimum six (6) months of relevant tractor-trailer experience.
• Acceptable references from past employers.
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications.

• Recent Graduates with less than 6 months experience will be considered.

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly.
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards and guidelines.
• Report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during, and after routes.
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely enter/exit the vehicle and rear cargo area.
• Perform routes, pickups, and deliveries based on customer requirements.
