About The Position

NFI is seeking dedicated truck drivers for local routes with a home daily schedule. The position requires early morning start times and involves operating a Ford 250 with a Gooseneck Trailer. Drivers will be responsible for live unloading and strapping, primarily operating in the states of Connecticut, Massachusetts, Maine, Pennsylvania, Vermont, New Hampshire, New Jersey, and New York. The parking location for the equipment is in Bristol, CT.

Requirements

• Minimum 21 years of age
• Current Class A CDL from your state of residence
• Minimum 1 year of flatbed experience in the last 3 years
• Hazmat endorsement (NFI will assist)
• Acceptable references from past employers
• Meet all applicable DOT qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform all duties safely and responsibly
• Follow all federal and/or state laws, regulations, and/or customer rules, standards, and guidelines
• Physically capable of performing all job duties, which includes moving frequently, standing, walking, and sitting
• Regularly lift and/or move up to 50lbs/23kg and occasionally lift and/or move up to 100lbs/45kg
• Report all problems with equipment, as well as accidents, traffic violations, and damage before, during and after route
• Legally operate a motor vehicle and safely and frequently enter/exit the vehicle as well as the rear cargo area
• Perform routes, pickups & deliveries based on customer requirements
