About The Position

NOW Courier is seeking a friendly, customer-focused Independent Contractor to handle a dedicated distribution route within our established Merillville operation. This is a consistent, overnight opportunity requiring a Minivan or larger vehicle. We believe every delivery is more than just a drop-off—it's an opportunity to make someone's day.
Your Mission
Deliver with Clockwork Precision: Ensure that cargo is picked up and delivered to our valued customers on time, maintaining NOW Courier's reputation for reliability and punctuality.
Route Mastery: Utilize GPS or mapping software to plan and follow efficient routes, ensuring timely deliveries and optimal fuel usage.
Exceptional Customer Service: Greet customers with professionalism and warmth, handling questions or issues with empathy.
Problem-Solving Skills: Think quickly and adapt when faced with challenges such as traffic delays or address changes to ensure smooth and efficient deliveries.
Route Details & Schedule
This is an opening for a driver to take over a vacated route.
Pay Structure: Route Pay.
Schedule: 5 days a week: Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Sunday.
Start/End Time: 12:00 AM (Midnight) Start, typically completing by 6:00 AM.
Required Vehicle: Minivan or larger.
Weekly Mileage: Approximately 600 miles.
Daily Stops: Averages 5 stops daily.
Geographical Area: Based out of Merillville, covering Chicago, IL and Westmont, IL.
Sorting: None required.
Vehicle Requirements:
Candidates must possess a Minivan or larger.
The vehicle must be 2016 model year or newer. This ensures the vehicle meets modern safety and reliability standards and provides adequate space for cargo.
