As a Deckhand aboard the Discovery 1, you will be part of creating the Gozzer Ranch Experience. You may be asked to perform other tasks (outside of your key areas of responsibility) from time to time based on business needs. Requirements

Prior bartending experience, preferred.
Must have strong knowledge of proper beverage service to include beverage products, supplies and equipment.
Must have knowledge and adherence to all state laws pertaining to the sale and service of liquor and other alcoholic beverages.
Comply with Idaho State Health and Wellness regulations.
Possess basic computer knowledge.
Ability to work effectively with all personality types.
Ability to understand and carry-out verbal and written instructions independently.
Ability to perform basic mathematical calculations correctly.
Ability to work weekends, holidays, morning, and nights.
Ability to work in all weather conditions and temperatures to include inside and outside areas.
Ability to perform light physical tasks, exerting up to 25 lbs. of force on a frequent basis and up to 75 lbs. on an occasional basis independently or with help.
Ability to perform such activities as grasping, lifting, reaching, crouching, walking, sitting, and carrying.

Responsibilities

Greet our member and member guests promptly upon arrival.
Always provide our member and member guests prompt and professional service
Exceed member and member guest expectations.
Create 100% guest satisfaction by providing our Gozzer brand behavior and genuine hospitality.
Give personal attention and take personal responsibility for a member and member guest experience.
Work intentionally to include all co-workers.
Support outlet service staff with meal set-up when possible, When there is no transportation scheduled for D1, you will assist with boating valet and shuttle boat operations at Discovery Marina.
Create good working relationships with ALL Gozzer Employees.
Maintain a courteous attitude toward ALL Gozzer Employees.
Ensure all amenities are in order and ready to be presented to our members and their guests.
Prepare bar area for services to include proper chair and table placement, stock bar adequately, begin service at posted times.
Complete all opening and closing procedures and daily/weekly side work.
Follow transportation plans and schedule.
Adhere to Gozzer Ranch uniform and appearance standards.
Assist co-workers with disposal and re-stocking inventory.
Wash all glasses or dishes as required.
Always maintain bar cleanliness during hours of operations
Keep bar areas organized and un-cluttered.
During special functions, the bartender will help the bar manager with on location bar setup and provide service as needed.
Immediately communicate Safety and Maintenance concerns to your immediate supervisor and request a follow up is conducted.
