About The Position
The Decision Support Analyst is responsible for compiling, analyzing, and reporting financial and operational data across Health & Hospital’s governmental and enterprise funds. In this role, you will develop and maintain financial models, create pro forma statements, and collaborate with various departments, including Accounting and IT, as well as divisions within the organization to ensure data accuracy. This position also plays a key role in developing annual budgets, conducting monthly financial reviews, and informing strategic decision-making through data-driven insights. You will spend much of your day reviewing and analyzing monthly governmental and enterprise fund financials, collecting and validating large datasets, preparing reports in tools like Power BI and forecasting performance to support operational and strategic decisions. You will also support budgeting processes that are presented to the HHC Board of Trustees, Indianapolis City County Council, and Indiana Department of Local Government Finance for approval, converting statutory requirements into operational budgets. Beyond routine reporting, you may tackle special projects such as risk analyses, sensitivity modeling, and capital planning, collaborating with the Decision Support team to optimize outcomes for the organization.
