About The Position

This is a 6 months+ contract role as a Deburring Technician, with the potential to become a permanent role. The position is on-site located in the Latrobe PA area. The role involves using hand tools and power tools to remove burrs, edges, or other imperfections from machined parts, performing quality checks, and ensuring compliance with applicable quality systems and regulations.

Requirements

• High school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
• Willingness to work in a team-based environment and a commitment to learning and improvement.
• 1+ years experience in machining and hand grinding tools.
• Previous experience in interpreting drawings and work instructions.
• Working knowledge of CNC Machining, Geometric Dimensioning & Tolerancing, and Measuring and Test Equipment.

Responsibilities

• Use hand tools and power tools to remove burrs, edges, or other imperfections from machined parts.
• Perform quality checks using basic measurement and testing equipment including micrometers and pin gages.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable quality systems and regulations.
• Document completed work and nonconformances as required by applicable quality systems and regulations.
• Clean and deburr parts utilizing machine tools, power tools, or hand tools.
• Report any incidents that have occurred and participate in investigations as required.
• Seek assistance from Inspection Supervisor when unsure of procedure or when errors occur.
• Work cohesively and respectfully with all employees, contractors, or interns.
