About The Position

This challenging position is a great opportunity for the right candidate to become a part of a dedicated team of aerospace manufacturing professionals. We are looking for a highly motivated and team-oriented applicant to deburr or polish surfaces of parts using a variety of small hand power tools and materials.

Requirements

• Must be a “U.S. Person” as defined by the U.S. Government and able to work without restrictions with ITAR related data
• High School Degree or G.E.D
• 1+ years of experience in a Manufacturing environment

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering work instructions

Responsibilities

• Processes major aerospace parts per specifications
• Creates edge breaks and removes burs per work instructions or blueprint
• Polishes machined edges and surfaces per work instructions or blueprint
• Manual break of edges and shoeshine of broach slots
• Process holes per customer specifications and work instructions
• Use various tools and methods to check dimensions of completed deburr work
• Processing of blisk surface finish/transition lines of blades using handheld power tools
• Rework of aerospace parts to conform to customer blueprint per work instructions
• Perform other related duties or responsibilities as required
