About The Position

We have a rewarding opportunity for a Deburrer (1st shift) to join our Target Rock team in East Farmingdale, NY! The individual will manually remove burrs from machined components and assemblies in accordance with drawings requirements. This position requires compliance with Company procedures and quality requirements, performing informational Non-Destructive Testing Inspections, and maintaining quality and productivity standards. Additional responsibilities will be assigned by the Supervisor.

Requirements

• Must be able to read drawings.
• Must be able to use hand tools and air powered deburring equipment.
• Must possess the mental capacity to comprehend information provided daily and make own decisions.
• High School education preferred.
• 3-5 years experience in manufacturing environment, deburring experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Manually removes burrs from machined components and assemblies in accordance with drawings requirements.
• Perform informational Non-Destructive Testing Inspections.
• Maintain quality and productivity standards.
• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use inspection equipment and inspect own work.
• Maintain compliance with manufacturing documentation requirements.
• Part mark in accordance with drawings requirements.
