The second shift Debur Finisher I is responsible for performing various types of manual grinding on products and partners with the Production Supervisor to ensure the machine shop meets daily production and quality goals. This position is part of the Pall Aerospace Machine Shop and will be located onsite in New Port Richey, FL. The work schedule is 2nd shift Monday through Friday, 2:45 PM to 11:15 PM, and overtime is frequent. This position requires access to export-controlled commodities, technical data, technology, software, and services. U.S. citizenship, U.S. legal permanent resident status, protected person status, or U.S. Government export authorization is required. Any offer of employment is contingent upon Pall obtaining the necessary employment visa and export authorization, including, if required, an export license from the applicable U.S. government agency.

Requirements

High School diploma or GED and at least 1-2 years of debur experience or completion of a trade school apprenticeship program.
Basic math, understand directions, written instruction in English and good eye dexterity.
Ability to work overtime as required.

Nice To Haves

Use of hand-held tools (i.e. Die Grinder, Dremel Tool, etc.) for extended periods of time.

Responsibilities

Set up and operate all equipment (i.e. Deburr Bench, various Grinders, etc.) in the Deburring area, work with basic precision measuring instruments (i.e., caliper, micrometer, drop indicator, etc.) to manufacture products to specifications and requirements.
Select proper methods and tools for deburring with or without assistance, check work against the blueprint with or without assistance, scrap parts according to standard operating procedures, and maintain all records required by the Company.
Handle and dispose of waste including hazardous waste in accordance with applicable rules and regulations, must follow all environmental policies and procedures when working with chemicals, oils, and solvents, perform preventative maintenance as required.
