About The Position

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Debt Collection Agent to join our team at Main Office and satellite debt collection office. As a Debt Collection Agent, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from our consumers. Your primary goal will be to ensure that all debts are collected in a timely and efficient manner, while maintaining a high level of customer service. You will be working closely with our consumer to understand their financial situation and develop customized payment plans that meet their needs. This is a challenging and rewarding role that requires excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, and the ability to work independently.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• 1+ years of experience in debt collection or a related field is a plus
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in English and Spanish (not required but helpful)

Responsibilities

• Contacting clients to collect outstanding debts
• Negotiating payment plans and settlements with clients
• Maintaining accurate records of all debt collection activities
• Providing excellent customer service to clients
• Working closely with other members of the debt collection team to achieve departmental goals
