About The Position
The position requires fluency in all Debone production work on a rotation basis. Employees will perform various tasks on the line in Debone, including cutting breasts, wings, pulling skin, using a saw, loading product, and tray packing. Team participation is essential, including involvement in the development, communication, and implementation of team concepts, programs, and policies. Employees are expected to coordinate work to ensure best practices and attend appropriate team meetings. The role also involves fostering strong cohesiveness within the team regarding major issues such as direction, annual plans, budgets, and policy changes. Employees must identify areas lacking cohesiveness and work with the team leader to resolve issues, aiming for synergy within the organization. Familiarity with Simmons' established operating systems, including quality, security, and company policies, is required.
