Position Summary The Dean of the School of Nursing and Health Sciences (SNHS) is the chief academic and administrative officer for the school responsible for providing visionary, strategic, and operational leadership across all nursing (BSN through DNP, and post-graduate APRN) programs and the health science division with undergraduate concentrations in Health & Wellness, Health Systems Management, Physical Education, Kinesiology, and a master’s in athletic training within the school. The nursing programs are CCNE-accredited. The Master of Athletic Training program is CAATE-accredited. The Dean’s role includes supervising 35 full-time faculty members, over 50 adjunct faculty members, four program directors, and seven staff members. In addition, the school boasts a full-staff four-suite simulation center with a boardcertified simulation nurse educator and a separate nursing resource learning center.
