The Dean of Workforce Development provides leadership and management of the internal operations of Workforce Development. The Dean identifies current and future educational and training needs of businesses and industries in the college's service area, and provides appropriate training needs to current and prospective employees. This position is responsible for developing apprenticeships/internships for business/industry and for organizing, implementing, and administering Workforce Development programs. Primary responsibilities include the development, delivery and administration of the College's Workforce development offerings and the supervision of program area directors, coordinators and administrative employees. The Dean of Workforce Development creates and strengthens partnerships within and outside of the College and is responsible for implementing a strategic vision for the department.
