About The Position
Whisconier Middle School is seeking an excellent Dean of Students. This is a 10-month position. The Dean of Students is a school-level teacher leader who collaborates with the Principal, Assistant Principal, and staff to ensure that every student is provided with an exceptional and safe learning environment. This leader should be a dynamic educator who will enhance and support our WMS social-emotional learning goals and work with students and staff to maintain a positive climate for all students by establishing standards that support the school climate. This position is a part of the Brookfield Educator Association (teacher union). The Dean of Students will model how to build strong, mutually respectful relationships with students and families and support teachers to do the same. This position requires an inspiring leader who has the ability to create an environment that supports children through astute relationship skills, demonstrated capacity with effective communication, and strong grasp of building positive school climate and culture.
