About The Position

The Dean for Academic and Career Foundations at Tri-County Technical College is a leadership role focused on managing and enhancing student success through innovative program design and implementation. This position requires collaboration with diverse populations and aims to support under-resourced students in their transition to college and career pathways. The Dean will oversee the I-BEST program and other initiatives, ensuring they are effectively developed and executed to meet the needs of students.

Requirements

• Master's degree in a relevant field.
• Five years of progressively responsible leadership and teaching experience in education and developmental education.
• Demonstrated experience in program development and building scalable student support structures.
• Experience in creating transitional and developmental student experiences.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage collaborative efforts to design, pilot, and implement programs for under-prepared and under-resourced students.
• Provide vision and direction for developmental and transitional courses, ensuring comprehensive growth of students.
• Cultivate a high-performing team of faculty and staff, providing development, coaching, and evaluation.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders to maintain relationships and support program goals.
• Serve on division and college committees and project teams as needed.
