Responsibilities

• Manage the academic department and faculty for the campus.
• Monitor student attrition and retention rates.
• Participate in campus meetings regarding Last Day of Attendance (LDA).
• Conduct retention calls and emails to students.
• Respond to student inquiries for assistance and academic advising.
• Manage faculty recruitment and address faculty requests and concerns.
• Meet with the Campus Vice President for planning and feedback.
• Prepare academic meetings and reports.
• Assist faculty and students during class sessions.
• Schedule and credential faculty as needed.
• Monitor and approve faculty payroll.
• Manage student Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP).
• Assist the Admissions Department with new student onboarding and Transfer Credit Evaluations.
• Ensure faculty are assigned for new term teaching.
• Conduct classroom observations as necessary.
• Participate in new student orientation activities.
• Ensure compliance with accreditation standards.
• Welcome new students and monitor their progress during the first term.
• Attend departmental meetings and hold monthly faculty meetings.
• Complete evaluations for all faculty members.
• Assist in monitoring Institutional Effectiveness goals.
• Update the quarterly Institutional Effectiveness campus master plan.
• Participate in campus events and graduation.
