Dealership Lot Coordinator
About The Position

We are seeking a Lot Coordinator to join our team and bring excitement and efficiency to our car lot operations. As the Car Lot Coordinator, you’ll play a crucial role in creating an organized atmosphere for customers and staff—ensuring a smooth, seamless experience from arrival to departure. So, buckle up and get ready to rev up your career with us! Our Lot Coordinator position is an entry-level role that performs a variety of tasks. The schedule runs Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and includes a one-hour lunch break each day.
Requirements
- Must possess a clean & valid driver's license.
- Displays outstanding customer service skills.
- Maintains a friendly demeanor and healthy sense of humor.
- Works well in a fast-paced environment and does not mind being on their feet all day.
Responsibilities
- Receiving and inspecting new vehicles from shipping carriers
- Shuttle cars to and from off-site for sales and service staff as needed
- Maintain optimum mix of vehicles off-site and on-site (age, make and model)
- Monitor and organize the general lot; including wholesale, new and used vehicles
- Use problem solving and effective communications skill to ensure lot disparities are resolved in a prompt manner
- Move cars in and out of service lane
- Apply stock tags and lock boxes to vehicles after check-in
- Stage vehicles for wholesalers, auction and transfer
- Drive all vehicles in a careful and prudent manner
- Miscellaneous tasks as assigned
