About The Position

The Dealership Accounts Payable / Receivable position at Countryside Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram involves managing financial transactions related to vendor invoices and payments. The position also includes vendor management and record keeping, along with generating financial reports. This position is subject to a 90-day introductory period, during which employees are considered temporary and not eligible for benefits.

Requirements

• Essential for interacting with vendors, internal departments, and other stakeholders to resolve issues and provide information.
• Familiarity with accounting software and Microsoft Excel is vital for processing and managing financial data.
• A foundational understanding of accounting principles is required.

Responsibilities

• Receive, verify, and process invoices from vendors and suppliers, ensuring they are accurate and properly approved.
• Compare internal records with vendor statements to identify and resolve discrepancies.
• Prepare and execute timely payments to vendors through electronic systems or other methods, managing cash flow and potential early payment discounts.
• Maintain and update vendor information, file necessary tax forms (like W-9s), and act as a point of contact for vendor inquiries and issues.
• Maintain organized files and records for all financial transactions and documentation.
• Generate and review reports, such as the accounts payable aging report, to ensure timely payment of invoices.
