Requirements

  • Accounting Knowledge: Understanding of chart of accounts, debits and credits; ability to reconcile statements and resolve variances.
  • Attention to Detail: Strong focus on accuracy and urgency in transactional processing.
  • Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening.
  • Time Management: Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Customer Service Orientation: Positive attitude and commitment to exemplary service.
  • Team Collaboration: Works well with others and contributes to team goals.
  • Bookkeeping certification, associate’s degree in accounting, or 2 years of relevant experience (required)
  • Auto industry or retail/customer service experience (required).
  • 18 years or older

Responsibilities

  • Audits
  • Process car deals into Accounting system
  • Perform bank reconciliations daily and monthly
  • Post NSF checks, send to UTA if needed
  • Reconcile warranty statements to general ledger
  • Reconcile Pre-Delivery Inspection receivables
  • Reconcile Miscellaneous receivables AR and Cash in Bank schedules
  • Oversee cancellations
  • Post reserve statements and process chargebacks
  • File 8300 forms to the IRS
  • Post and reconcile holdback
  • Post and reconcile all incentive/rebate monies
  • Post all non-parts factory invoices on factory statements
  • Coordinate the factory trade reconciliation with AP
  • Loaners payoffs
  • Provide Stats for specific manufacturers
  • Add all notes in Intranet Schedules for month end
  • Responsible for overall schedule reconciliation
  • Additional responsibilities as requested
