Requirements

  • Bookkeeping certification, associate’s degree in accounting, or 2+ years of commensurate experience; high school diploma/equivalent required.
  • Working knowledge of basic accounting principles (COA, debits/credits) and ability to maintain accurate, timely transactional posting.
  • Strong attention to detail, critical thinking, and ability to quickly research and resolve variances with a sense of urgency.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including active listening and a positive, customer-service mindset.
  • Self-starter who takes ownership, manages time effectively, and collaborates well as a team player; proficiency with standard office/computer tools.

Responsibilities

  • Process submissions and cancellations of service contracts, ensuring timely and accurate documentation.
  • Complete FTC (Factory Trade Creditors) reconciliations; research and resolve variances as needed.
  • Review and maintain schedules to support accurate month-end reporting and internal controls.
  • Record and track manufacturer monies and related accounting entries.
  • Ensure consistent, accurate posting of dealership transactions in accordance with basic accounting principles.
  • Partner with internal teams to provide responsive, customer-focused service and clear communication.
  • Perform additional accounting and administrative duties as assigned.
