About The Position
This position will provide superior guest service to guests while controlling assigned games in accordance with casino procedures. This position ensures the confidentiality, security, and accuracy of guest’s records, and promotes positive guest and team member relations. Strong written and verbal communication skills are required and outstanding guest service to fellow team members, guests, vendors, etc. is expected. Regular attendance is required, and on occasion, later hours or weekend time may be required with project deadlines and a neat well-groomed professional appearance is essential at all times.
Requirements
- A High School Diploma or GED is required for this position.
- A minimum of six (6) months’ Casino Dealer experience, required.
- Must be able to deal Blackjack and (OTHER GAMES) with a high level of proficiency.
- Must be able to successfully complete a basic math test and pass an audition displaying adequate skills.
- Must be able to quickly and accurately perform mathematical computations when determining winners and losers and collecting and paying out bets.
- Must be a minimum of 18 years old and have the ability to obtain and retain a Washington State Class III Gaming License; successfully pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Responsibilities
- Provides accurate and efficient dealing at assigned table game.
- Follows game procedures when dealing Blackjack, Craps, Roulette, Baccarat, and any other form or variation of table games.
- Provides prompt, courteous, and accurate dealing at assigned table(s).
- Adheres to all company and departmental policies and procedures and state regulations as it relates to this position.
- Performs accurate chip and cash transactions.
- Receives wagers from customers and pays the appropriate game outcomes.
- Maintains game security and protects company assets at all times.
- Assists customers in understanding the rules and ensures adherence to established policies and procedures.
- Enthusiastically supports, actively promotes, and demonstrates superior customer service in accordance with department and company standards and programs.
- Ensures operations of the assigned gaming area are in accordance with all internal controls, State, Tribal and Federal rules, and regulations.
- Ensures confidentiality and protection of property assets, guests, and the integrity of the property.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
