About The Position
The Dealer Trade Driver is responsible for transporting vehicles between dealerships and other locations. This includes performing local and long-distance runs as needed, ensuring safe and timely delivery of vehicles while following all traffic laws and dealership policies.
Requirements
- Must have a clean driving record
- Willing to submit to a pre-employment background check & drug screening
- Valid driver’s license appropriate for vehicle type
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
- Good communication skills and professional demeanor
Responsibilities
- Safely transport vehicles for dealer trades, both locally and long-distance
- Inspect vehicles before and after transport to ensure condition and security
- Follow all traffic laws, dealership policies, and safety regulations
- Maintain accurate records of trips and deliveries
- Communicate effectively with dealership staff regarding schedules, issues, or delays
