About The Position
As a Dealer Services Specialist II at Manheim Chicago, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our dealer clients have a seamless and enjoyable auction experience. This position is designed for individuals who are passionate about the automotive industry and possess exceptional customer service skills. You will be the primary point of contact for dealers, representing their interests during auction days and promoting Manheim's products and services. Your responsibilities will include receiving reserve prices from dealers, assigning order numbers, and negotiating conditional bids. You will also work closely with dealers, managers, and coordinators to ensure that vehicles are prepared for auction, both in-lane and online. In addition to facilitating the auction process, you will provide training and consultation on our products and services, assist with customer care issues, and respond to dealer inquiries in a professional manner. Your role will require you to consult customers on floor prices and market values of vehicles, as well as make recommendations for vehicle reconditioning to enhance their value. You will coordinate with recon shops and lot operations to ensure that vehicles are repaired, inspected, and detailed, making them ready for sale. This position demands a proactive approach to problem-solving and a commitment to maintaining strong relationships with our dealer clients.
