Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required
  • 5-7+ years of experience in one or more of the following areas: Automotive retail operations (especially fixed operations), Automotive technical or service environments, Warranty claims auditing (strongly preferred)
  • In-depth understanding of dealership processes and the franchised dealer model
  • Hands-on experience with warranty claims auditing
  • Strong knowledge of automotive repair, diagnostics, and service operations
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and collaboration tools)
  • Ability to communicate effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
  • Understanding of risk management, compliance, and audit processes
  • Ability to work independently in a highly autonomous, travel-based role
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across dealership networks
  • Adaptability in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
  • Strong organizational and time management skills

Nice To Haves

  • Prior experience in financial, compliance, or operational auditing
  • Experience with dealership management systems and warranty platforms
  • Familiarity with automated or digital audit tools and processes
  • Experience developing or interpreting policies, procedures, or technical documentation
  • Professional certifications (e.g. Certified Internal Auditor, Certified Fraud Examiner, PMP)
