About The Position

In this position... We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Manager to lead dealer audit activities with a primary focus on the Americas region (United States, Canada, Mexico, and other South America). This role is critical to driving marketing program effectiveness and efficiency and customer satisfaction through robust risk assessment, high-quality audit execution, and effective team management. The successful candidate will also lead regional and support global audit projects and actively engage with key stakeholders to deliver significant value to the organization, with a strong focus on implementing technological transformation within the dealer audit function.

Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business (Accounting, Finance, Marketing) or a related field.
  • Experience: 10+ years of progressive experience in internal audit, risk management or marketing incentives within a large, multinational organization.
  • Demonstrated experience in one or more of the following areas: marketing and sales, automotive industry or auditing dealership/franchise operations.
  • Proven ability to lead teams and deliver operating objectives, working with cross-functional teams, and influencing stakeholders.
  • Superior analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking abilities.
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills.
  • High appetite and demonstrated experience in change management, including the ability to execute technology initiatives or work closely with technology and analytics teams to bring strategic visions to fruition.

Responsibilities

  • Implement a comprehensive risk assessment to identify dealers for audit, determining whether audits should be conducted remotely or on-site.
  • Drive high-quality execution (accurate, clear, timely) of dealer audits across the Americas region, adhering to established professional standards and procedures.
  • Manage and prioritize the regional audit schedules, workload allocation, resource planning and logistics for all assigned audits.
  • Oversee regional dealer self-assessment processes, reviewing results and integrating findings into overall audit planning.
  • Engage directly with dealers as necessary to address complex issues, present audit findings, and facilitate effective remediation plans.
  • Lead, mentor and develop a high-performing team of audit professionals, day-to-day administration of the team, including performance management and fostering a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement.
  • Engage with third-party agencies providing contract auditor support for audit activities, ensuring compliance, and effective utilization of resources.
  • Maintain robust performance dashboards to track key audit metrics, team productivity, and regional compliance, providing actionable insights to leadership.
  • Lead global audit projects, collaborating with peers and stakeholders to implement best practices and standardize processes worldwide.
  • Analyze audit findings to develop themes and insights to improve marketing program design.
  • Actively engage with stakeholders, including regional leadership, marketing management and other functions, to communicate audit findings, discuss risks, and ensure alignment on strategic objectives.
