About The Position
This position is responsible for dealing casino games while ensuring a courteous, engaging, and enjoyable experience for Palms Casino Resort guests. The position also plays a key role in generating revenue for the department through excellent customer service and effective game management. Essential Functions & Responsibilities The ability to deal the 5 core games (Baccarat, Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker, Roulette, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em) and provide guests with courteous and accurate service while promoting an entertaining environment. The skill set to deal a procedurally correct game, while maintaining department standards of game productivity and protecting company assets. The capability to assist guests by answering general questions and handling special requests to provide them with courteous service to encourage gaming activity. Actively support and sell current marketing promotions and be a strong advocate of the Serrano Club program. Maintain a professional, neat and well-groomed appearance in accordance with the departmental dress code. Continuously demonstrate a pleasant and enthusiastic demeanor. Consistent and regular attendance and punctuality.
Requirements
- Proficiently deal all the games (Baccarat, Blackjack, Pai Gow Poker, Roulette, and Ultimate Texas Hold’em).
- Literate and fluent in English.
- Eligible to obtain and maintain a GCB Nevada Gaming License.
- Mathematical skills, including ability to add, subtract, multiply and divide.
- Excellent guest service and interpersonal skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Flexibility to accommodate changing business demands, i.e., schedule changes and overtime.
- Ability to uphold and demonstrate the highest level of integrity in all situations and recognize standards required by a regulated business.
- Adhere to all regulatory, company and department policies and procedures.
- Available to work all shifts to include evenings, weekends, and holidays.
