About The Position

We're at an inflection point. As WRITER scales rapidly, every deal matters—not just for revenue, but for how we structure our go-to-market motion, refine our pricing and packaging, and build the foundation for our quote-to-cash processes. This isn't just about processing orders; it's about becoming a strategic partner to our sales team and a trusted advisor across revenue leadership. As our senior deal desk manager, you'll be the bridge between Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, Legal, and Product. You'll see deals from every angle, advise on structures that maximize both customer value and revenue growth, and shape the systems and processes that will scale with us. If you're energized by greenfield opportunities and love being deep in the weeds while thinking strategically, this is your chance to build something meaningful. This is a hybrid role based out of our New York City hub, reporting to our deal desk director

Requirements

  • 7+ years of experience in deal desk, finance, order management, sales operations, or revenue operations roles at high-growth B2B SaaS companies
  • Proven track record in a deal desk role at a company with consumption-based pricing models, with deep understanding of how to structure deals for recurring revenue growth
  • Strong command of Salesforce from an order management perspective, including how objects connect and how to optimize system design for better data collection and process efficiency
  • Strategic mindset combined with exceptional attention to detail—you can design creative deal structures while catching every compliance requirement and process gap
  • Natural problem-solver with a bias for action who thrives in ambiguity and sees greenfield opportunities as exciting challenges rather than obstacles
  • Team player mentality with proven ability to manage complex deals across the finish line during high-pressure month-end and quarter-end closes
  • You embody WRITER's values of Connect, Challenge, and Own—building authentic relationships, pushing for better solutions, and taking full accountability for outcomes

Responsibilities

  • Build trusted relationships with our sales team to become their strategic partner in closing complex enterprise deals worth millions in ARR
  • Advise account executives and sales leaders on deal structures that balance customer needs with revenue maximization and future expansion opportunities
  • Own last-mile order processing through Salesforce, ensuring order forms meet internal compliance requirements while moving deals efficiently through the finish line
  • Shape our quote-to-cash processes and systems architecture to prepare for hypergrowth, identifying bottlenecks and designing scalable solutions
  • Drive continuous evolution of our pricing and packaging strategies by applying insights from hundreds of deal negotiations
  • Lead cross-functional initiatives with GTM Operations, Finance, Legal, and Product teams to solve complex problems and accelerate business growth
  • Serve as the go-to expert on WRITER's consumption-based pricing and packaging, providing data-driven recommendations to revenue leadership
