Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in Deal Desk, or in a similar function such as Sales Operations, Procurement, Order Management or Finance.
  • Fluent in English (and German is a big plus).
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand subscription pricing models or experience within B2B SaaS sales.
  • Meticulous and detail oriented, especially in a teamwork environment.
  • Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship building skills.
  • Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce and Salesforce CPQ.

Responsibilities

  • Support and advise the organization on deal and contract structure, maximizing live and committed revenue and ensuring compliance with approval rules when necessary.
  • Review and process quotes configured in CPQ for accuracy and compliance, preventing issues for invoicing as part of the Order-to-Cash process.
  • Customize contracts for complex deals, fulfilling approved requests and paying attention to detail on the format of customer-facing documents.
  • Conduct final reviews diligently and efficiently when booking deals, especially for month-end or quarter-end reconciliation activities with Finance.
  • Adapt and evolve with changes to pricing, policies and products - learning and implementing changes in line with company objectives and strategies.
  • Work closely with Sales Operations and Business Systems teams to maintain Salesforce records and ensure process disruptions are minimized.
  • Maintain resources with peers to support creating contracts efficiently, such as language libraries, order form templates, SOWs and MSA templates, exception trackers and more.
  • Constantly evaluate and share ideas that would enhance deal desk processes, tools, and systems to drive operational efficiency and scalability.
