About the position

This role involves working in a fiduciary capacity to lead first line approvals for the client's Deal approval process. The position requires analyzing and structuring sales transactions to further client goals while reducing sales cycles to accelerate deal closure. The successful candidate will meet with Sales teams to identify critical business issues and assist in structuring transactions that meet both client requirements and customer needs. Additionally, the role acts as the initial point of contact for Sales representatives requiring non-standard deal structures and serves as the first line Controller review for all enterprise sales deals. Responsibilities include supporting all Commercial/Public Sector related activities such as deal structuring, contract creation, pricing, review and approval for offers, contract management, and providing support to field sales for quoting purposes. The candidate will ensure deals are structured and processed efficiently in alignment with company policies, review and interpret contract terms and conditions, and work closely with finance and legal teams to ensure contract accuracy and compliance with internal policies and external regulations. The role also involves drafting, modifying, and finalizing contracts, handling day-to-day queries from various groups, and resolving problems through research and consultation with internal support teams.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the day-to-day contract creation and deal approval processes.
  • Meet with sales teams to communicate via detailed proposals with various corporate partners.
  • Articulate deal value in a consistent manner.
  • Meet with customers during the deal creation and negotiation process.
  • Forecast deal status and communicate to FP&A and executive sales management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting or equivalent experience.
  • Proven experience in FP&A, Sales Finance, Sales Operations, or Deal Desk.
  • Experience drafting and analyzing binding sales agreements.
  • Ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated capability to build strong working relationships with internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in structuring multi-element contracts including subscriptions, licenses, services, and support.
  • Proficient in software revenue recognition accounting, SOP 97-2 and related.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
