About The Position

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Deal Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will handle key accounting and administrative tasks related to vehicle sales, ensuring accuracy in our financial records and smooth processing of dealer trades. This role requires a keen eye for detail and the ability to manage weekly inventory and certification processes efficiently.

Requirements

  • Strong attention to detail and ability to identify errors in numerical data.
  • Proficiency with computer systems and data entry.
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

  • Process and post vehicle sales transactions to the accounting system, ensuring all financial data is recorded accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Calculate and process payments for drivers regarding dealer trades and vehicle pickups, ensuring timely compensation.
  • Manage and complete the vehicle certification process, verifying that all manufacturer guidelines and documentation requirements are fully met.
  • Regularly review accounting schedules for accuracy; investigate, identify, and correct any errors or discrepancies found.
  • Monitor office inventory and place orders for supplies on a weekly basis (or as needed) to maintain adequate stock levels.
  • Work one Saturday per month to assist the sales team by typing vehicle paperwork and processing registrations for car sales.
