The Teacher of the Deaf/Hard of Hearing is needed to develop and implement instructional curriculum for students K-12 with Deaf/Hard of Hearing difficulties. The teacher will work directly with students delivering direct instruction using a variety of communication and hard of hearing access models. Proficiency in ASL (American Sign Language) is critical. The teacher will also assist in the development of IEPs pertinent to students with hearing impairments and will be directly responsible for supervising deaf education interpreters.
