Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH) Itinerant Teacher

About the position

The William S. Hart Union High School District is seeking qualified candidates for the position of Education Specialist in Deaf and Hard of Hearing (DHH). The ideal candidate will possess a valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Deaf and Hard of Hearing and have knowledge of American Sign Language (ASL) and deaf culture. Preference will be given to candidates with one or more years of experience working with DHH students.

Requirements

• Valid Education Specialist Instruction Credential in Deaf and Hard of Hearing
• Knowledge of ASL and deaf culture
• Prefer one or more years of DHH experience
