Requirements

  • Application of control loops to provide machine control
  • Programming for controllers (DDC/PLC)
  • AutoCAD Electrical experience
  • Effective communication skills, both written and oral
  • Demonstrated problem solver & team player
  • Ability to successfully plan work to meet deadlines
  • Understanding of HVAC Systems

Responsibilities

  • Assist with design & testing of completed systems
  • Research new controls solutions such as sensors, actuators, VFDs, and networks
  • Develop custom air handler solutions by selecting components, generating schematic drawings, and preparing parts lists
  • Support new product development with conceptual designs and layouts
  • Develop controls programs for complex air handlers and heat transfer systems
  • Participate in Kaizen and other cross-functional teams to improve designs
  • Provide RFE Support with updating existing systems
  • Support continuous improvement and cost reduction activities through improved product design / design for manufacturing (DFM)
  • Offer technical support of products post-shipping
  • Willingness to travel up to 25%
