About The Position

As an Advanced Field Service Engineer, you will perform maintenance, audits, configuration, programming, installation/commissioning, upgrades, and migration of complex/advanced Honeywell Distributed Control Systems (EXPERION PKS, TPS/TDC300). You will report directly to our Field Service Manager, and you'll work out of our Pascagoula, MS location on an on-site work schedule.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience with Honeywell DCS and networks: Experion PKS hardware & software, in addition to TDC2/3000, FTE, TPS, LCN, UCN, Hiway, various system architecture, operations, and Process Controls.
  • Knowledge and skills with servers/PCs, IP Networking technologies (switch, router, firewall, etc).
  • Fundamental knowledge of 3rd Party technologies and software.
  • Project Management experience (budget control, schedules, resource allocation, reporting).
  • Valid Driver's License.
  • Willing to develop extensive product knowledge in formal and on-the-job training environments, working with the latest Honeywell technology.

Responsibilities

  • Periodic communication with customers regarding technical and administrative DCS issues.
  • Provide customer support on Honeywell Control Systems and serve as customer contact for service-related issues/inquiries.
  • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Honeywell hardware, networks, and software including Experion PKS, LCN, and TPS.
  • Upgrade TPN and Experion software from one software release to another software release on the live control system without causing any interruption to the customer's industrial process.
  • Migrate Legacy Honeywell control systems to Honeywell's new technology offering.
  • Develop the skills and talents of other engineers through guidance and on-the-job supervision.
  • Understand customer key processes and economic drivers and translate those into business opportunities, providing timely research and recommendations.
  • Assist Sales during sales pursuits.
  • Be the face of Honeywell to end-users, and competitors.
  • Learn end-to-end product/solution development and delivery/execution of Honeywell products and solutions.
  • Use technical expertise of complex Honeywell solutions/product offerings to enhance customer experience.
  • Actively interface with customers at all levels. Ensure customer satisfaction through oral and written communication.
  • Publish reporting to customers including service reports and monthly performance reports.
  • Provide occasional vacation coverage and 7 X 24 emergency support to customers and other Field Service Engineers.
