Requirements

  • Typically requires an AA/AS degree (or other 2-year post high school training) with a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience.
  • Experience working with technical documents (including any of the following: routings, blueprints, Engineering process specifications, written work instructions).
  • 2 or more years of experience in design and construction of analog and digital circuitry.
  • 2 or more years of experience in design and construction of cabling/wiring harnesses.
  • Experience in a similar industrial environment that includes high voltage installation and troubleshooting, engineering, or related technical field.

Nice To Haves

  • 5 or more years of experience with Aerospace or industrial control systems.
  • 3 or more years of experience with calibration of electrical/mechanical equipment to NIST or ASTM standards.
  • Ability to multi-task and respond to changing priorities.
  • Problem solving, troubleshooting, and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Data Control Room support for the Test Lab.
  • Setup test hardware and software including data acquisition and machine controls, servo tuning, test data review and stop performance.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve test issues related to data acquisition and machine controls.
  • Support the operation and repair of hydraulic & pneumatic systems, sliprings, servos, distributed IO and other electrical/mechanical systems.
  • Assist Test Lab engineering, maintenance and outside contractors with troubleshooting issues and equipment upgrades/replacements.
  • Setup, perform and document calibrations including the process and the equipment.
  • Maintain spare parts supply to support job functions.
