About The Position

The Picker/Packer 2 position at SBH involves efficient picking and packing, handling, and timely movement of stock in and out of pack/pick locations. The primary goal is to move products safely with minimal damage while maximizing productivity. This role represents the intermediate level for this job, requiring knowledge and ability to perform all duties of a Picker/Packer 1. Detailed Standard Operating Procedures exist for tasks performed in areas such as Order Pulling, Packing Orders, Stocking, and Special Operations.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• At least 2 years in a distribution/warehouse environment or equivalent work experience.
• Must know and be able to perform Picker/Packer 1 job.
• Basic computer skills.
• Verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adjust to change and interruptions.
• Ability to work with limited supervision.

Responsibilities

• Complete Radio Frequency or paper-based picking using various types of equipment.
• Package and ship products to stores or salons, working within Hospital QA Lane, Packing Lane, Store Sorting, UPS Line, and Wrap Stage.
• Perform Special Operations tasks, including deal break processes and breaking down product deal packages.
• Process product returns through the RGA process, inspecting returned products for piece count and damage.
• Stock products/items using different types of equipment, including picking and placing products.
• Ensure all work areas are accurate to optimize customer service.
• Maintain a safe work environment and report potential job hazards.
• Maintain productivity related to standards based on assigned tasks.
• Perform other duties as assigned by management.
