About The Position
The DCNR Ranger Trainee position at Ricketts Glen State Park is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about the outdoors and public service. As a Ranger Trainee, you will be responsible for ensuring that visitors have a safe and enjoyable experience at the park. This includes patrolling park areas and facilities, responding to safety concerns, assisting park visitors, managing emergencies, and addressing violations of park laws and regulations. You will also maintain detailed logs documenting the status of campgrounds, facilities, and visitor safety, as well as processing permits and collecting fees.
