About The Position

As an Operations Team Lead you are responsible for assisting the Department Supervisor in the day-to-day activities of the department. Plan, prioritize, and communicate supervisor-directed activities to ensure efficiency and accuracy. Assist with implementing work procedures to increase productivity and improve service.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma / GED or equivalent experience
  • 0-1 year of leadership service experience
  • Effective oral and written communications skills
  • PC Skills preferred
  • Ability to be flexible with schedule rotation based on business needs
  • Ability to perform all job tasks within department assigned

Responsibilities

  • Assist Supervisor to achieve planned per hour throughput, cost per unit, level of service and accuracy standards throughout the shift/schedule.
  • Lead assigned functional areas to ensure all Key Performance metrics are achieved; follow daily plan, monitor results, and assist where necessary to achieve daily goals.
  • Assist Supervisor to delegate tasks, train and monitor associate performance to meet/exceed productivity, accuracy, quality, safety, and attendance goals with 100% SOP compliance.
  • Team Lead will be responsible for hitting their own personal productivity goals.
  • Optimize department operations by providing feedback to Supervisor regarding labor capacity and workload leveling.
  • Support, create and maintain a culture of consistency, fairness & inclusiveness for associates.
