About The Position

Our Shift Supervisors in our Distribution Center are responsible for the
oversight and direction of Distribution Center (DC) Team Members. They will
spend a large portion of the workday on the DC floor providing visible
leadership, and driving a motivated, positive, productive workforce to ensure
safety, quality, and production standards are met.

Requirements

• Associate's degree or equivalent experience is required. Knowledge of warehousing methods, procedures and techniques utilized in handling and storing stock items.
• Knowledge of the correct methods and procedures of loading and unloading transport carriers and inventory methods and procedures is preferred. At least one year of previous supervisory experience is preferred.
• Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills. Must be able to demonstrate strong and effective leadership skills. Ability to motivate, develop and provide constructive feedback to employees as needed. Must be comfortable with all levels of employees and can drive positive changes.
• Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 55 pounds, as necessary. Physical requirements include, but are not limited to, standing, lifting, carrying and loading supplies and equipment for periods of time.

Nice To Haves

Responsibilities

• Responsible for hiring, salary administration, performance management, coaching, mentoring.
• Also responsible for but not limited to allocating work and monitoring productivity.
• Oversee shipping, receiving, and stock handling procedures to ensure orderly, efficient, and timely receipt and shipment of goods.
• Establish and monitor daily and weekly schedules and priorities; ensure policies and procedures are adhered to and resources are utilized appropriately.
• Supervisor will not only oversee operations but will also work hands-on alongside team members to support daily tasks to ensure team success.
• Collaborate with other Leaders daily to keep open lines of communication to ensure deadlines are met and appropriate labor adjustments are made timely.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
