About The Position

The DC Supervisor for the 2nd shift is responsible for supervising the daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking, and palletizing finished products. This role includes determining space requirements for storage and scheduling delivery and distribution of products to meet customer requirements. The supervisor will ensure that all store material is organized and clearly identified, maintain equipment in compliance with laws, and enforce safety rules. Additionally, the supervisor will monitor employee performance and coordinate work with other managers and supervisors.

Requirements

• 1 to 3 years prior work experience in a warehouse related field.
• Previous work experience in a warehouse or distribution center including material handling, inventory tracking, and providing work direction to other teammates.
• Associate Degree, or equivalent experience.

Nice To Haves

• Bi-Lingual skills preferred, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises the daily work schedules of warehouse employees involved in shipping, receiving, loading and unloading trucks, stacking, picking, and palletizing finished products.
• Determines space requirements for storage and schedules delivery and distribution of products to achieve distribution objectives.
• Ensures maintenance of equipment, including company vehicles, in compliance with laws and ensures a safe, clean environment.
• Monitors employee attendance, productivity, and other performance markers and provides counseling to employees as required.
• Coordinates work with warehouse and operations manager, telephone sales, and other supervisors concerning shipments.
• Maintains various records and reports, such as lost sales, error report, and production report.
• Recommends changes in procedures to improve the operating efficiency of the unit.

Benefits

• Annual salary of $65,000 - $70,000.
• 5% Bonus.
