About The Position

The DC Supervisor at JBS USA is responsible for overseeing operations within the distribution center, ensuring efficiency, safety, and productivity among production workers. This role involves close collaboration with other supervisors and management to meet production schedules and maintain high standards of employee training and equipment maintenance.

Requirements

• Supervisory skills and good interpersonal relations.
• Ability to handle conflict effectively.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to speak multiple languages is beneficial.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent is required.
• College experience is recommended but not required.

Responsibilities

• Promote efficiency and teamwork in each department and plant facility.
• Attend scheduled or called meetings.
• Stimulate maximum safety, efficiency, and productivity of production workers.
• Ensure proper training of employees.
• Anticipate and determine causes of delays in shift operations and take appropriate actions to meet production schedules.
• Apply company employee relations and union contract policies in all dealings with employees.
• Monitor and confirm that machinery, equipment, and facilities are properly maintained and sanitized for efficient production.
• Arrange to have appropriate production records prepared and maintained.
• Perform various other duties as needed or assigned.
