The position involves identifying, prioritizing, and overseeing the proper stocking of incoming products to ensure accurate and available inventory. The essential job functions include supervising the distribution and stocking of all incoming merchandise, managing the Assistant Stocking Supervisor and Inbound Lead, and ensuring the safety of all DC team members. The supervisor is responsible for ensuring that stock adjustments are completed accurately and timely, handling surplus merchandise, and overseeing the timely completion of new product line setups and changeovers. Additionally, the supervisor is responsible for team member evaluations, enforcing company policies, maintaining a clean and organized distribution center, and communicating with other supervisors to maintain a steady workflow. The role also involves working with HR supervisors to interview and hire prospective team members, coordinating with the operations manager to establish goals, and conducting monthly department meetings.
