About The Position

The DC Operations Lead provides directions to team members for multiple job functions while adhering to current company procedures by acting as team leader. Responsibilities Supervises and directs team members while engaged in all aspects of the Distribution Center including receiving, stocking, order filling, delivery, and inventory control. Train and oversee personnel within department and provide work guidance for team members. Maintain a productive and positive work environment between team members, managers and outside vendors. Achieve assigned performance goals and objectives as set by management. Ability to safely operate all powered equipment within the Distribution Center. Communicates and supports management initiatives. Coordinates efforts of department leaders. Mains a clean and safe work environment within the facility. Ability to safely operate all powered equipment within the Distribution Center. Other duties may be assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to perform basic clerical and physical tasks.
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and capability of working effectively with other departments.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Proficient in basic math skills.
  • Be able to lift 50 pounds.
  • Detail-orientated and strong prioritization and organization skills.
  • Supervisory and time management skills.
  • Microsoft Office.
  • AS/400.
  • Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables.
  • At least 2 years of warehouse experience.
  • Knowledge of AS/400 and all aspects of Microsoft Office (Outlook, PowerPoint, Word and Excel).
  • Highschool diploma or GED equivalent.
  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently.
  • Eligible to work in the Unites States.

  • Extremely organized and demonstrates the ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Understands staffing requirements within designated department.
  • Broad understanding of multiple department functions.
