We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Distribution Center Sanitation Associate to join our growing team. Starting Pay: $19.00WHAT YOU WILL DOThe Distribution Center Sanitation Associate performs a variety of inside/outside cleaning/sanitation duties and responsibilities for the Distribution Center. These duties include but are not limited to: Operation of industrial power equipment which may include floor scrubbers and forklifts. Cleaning and sanitizing power equipment and other various equipment Vacuuming rooms and floor mats Emptying trash, this includes gaylord trash bins and use of a trash compactor Cleaning candy off the floor Maintaining clean break rooms: this may include refrigerators, microwaves, tables, dishwashers and sinks

Requirements

Excellent time management skills
Ability to extend work hours when needed
Ability to subtract, add, multiply and divide in all units of measure
Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions. Ability to write simple correspondence.
Ability to clearly articulate process problems or troubleshooting issues.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; use hands to handle or feel and reach with hands and arms.
The employee is frequently required to walk and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or carry boxes from one pallet to the other
Specific vision abilities required by this job include Close vision, Distance vision and Peripheral vision
